In Bolsward’s historic city center, we recently completed an extensive upgrade of the facade lighting system. The project involved removing outdated, inefficient, and light-polluting fixtures and replacing them with modern, energy-efficient LED lights that enhance the ambiance while reducing environmental impact.

Our team installed over 250 new luminaires across the city, carefully coordinating the new lighting to operate in sync with the existing streetlight system. This comprehensive installation required meticulous planning and execution: we laid over 550 meters of pipework and 1.5 kilometers of cabling, all while navigating the city center’s unique architecture.

To complete the project safely and efficiently, we utilized rolling scaffolds, ladders, and aerial platforms, ensuring that every fixture was securely installed to meet high standards of quality and safety. The result is a vibrant, well-lit city center that minimizes energy use and light pollution, contributing to a more sustainable and attractive urban environment.
